Today, June 14, 2016, marks the 18th day since I resigned from my 12 year career with the federal government — a position I once held with such pride; a position where I once thought I could make a difference. Funny how things change.
Today also marks the beginning of my new career as a full-time artist. I am going to learn how to start my own creative reuse arts center by taking a Boot Camp course with the Scrap Exchange in Durham, North Carolina.
I wish I could express just how excited I am about starting my new career and taking on this new adventure! I am so looking forward to making a difference as an artist!!

It’s easy one foot in front of the other and just keep on keeping on. Excited that you found The Scrap Exchange I run THE ART RESOURCE CENTER in Arizona doing much the same stuff.
Thanks Sherrie!! I love the Scrap Exchange! One day I hope to make it out to Arizona; would love to see your business! Sorry for the delay in my response, life has gotten in the way.
